Second, it can increase the recrystallization temperature by 250℃~280℃, eliminate the recrystallized structure in the heat-affected zone of the weld, and the subgrained structure of the matrix can directly transition to the cast structure of the weld to prevent hot cracking and improve the fatigue fracture resistance of the aluminum alloy. It is an effective recrystallization inhibitor for aluminum alloys and has a significant effect on the structure and properties of the alloy, greatly improving its strength, hardness, elastic modulus, welding performance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance and resistance to neutron radiation damage. At present, it is known that the strength of aluminum-scandium alloy can reach more than 750MPa, and the elastic modulus can exceed 100GPa, which is 30% higher than that of traditional aluminum alloys. Third, it can play a good role in dispersion strengthening, maintaining a stable non-recrystallized structure in the state of hot processing or annealing treatment, and has the characteristics of good hot and cold processing and high thermal stability. Fourth, it can make aluminum alloys have good superplasticity. After superplastic treatment, the elongation of aluminum alloys with about 0.5% scandium added can reach 1100%.
