Rare earth market
In the first week after the Spring Festival, domestic rare earth prices performed well overall, and the prices of many mainstream products continued the volatile upward trend before the festival. This is mainly attributed to the increased enthusiasm of downstream users for inquiries, strong support for production costs, slow growth in market spot supply and good market outlook. However, in the short term, traders still need to operate with caution, because the buying interest of magnetic material companies is still low and the market transaction volume is still small. In the long term, with the continuous development of industries such as robots, new energy vehicles, smart home appliances and wind power generation, the use of rare earth functional materials is expected to increase, which may in turn heat up the rare earth market.
