Rare earth market on December 28th
The overall domestic rare earth prices are consolidating within a narrow range. Affected by lower than expected demand from downstream users, it is difficult for the prices of light rare earths to rise again. However, with the support of production costs and good expectations for the development of emerging industries, suppliers have a lower willingness to lower prices. In the medium and heavy rare earth market, the prices of dysprosium terbium series products have been reduced to varying degrees, with a decrease of about 200 yuan/kg for terbium oxide and about 60000 yuan/ton for dysprosium ferroalloy. This is mainly due to the increased spot supply in the market and low downstream purchasing enthusiasm.
